On our last day in Paris, We went to the Louvre. Yes that Museum. The entry ticket is not that cheap, so at first we still contemplating whether to go in our just stay outside. But when you're in Paris, you should not missed it, at least once for a lifetime. We bought the ticket online, before We came to Paris. If possible please buy all your tickets online to avoid long queue.

Our brunch before entering the museum. At random cafe near the Louvre. This omelet is so damn good!!
The best omelet I've ever eaten in my life! (note: I seldom eat omelet) It's cooked well and crispy on the outside, but still creamy inside. Sorry I really didn't remember the cafe name, but when I see it, i know. So bring me if you want to eat this.. |
Fettucine, taste normal. |
Aaaaah we're inside the pyramid.. |
The first feeling inside the museum was, Oh this is huge, we could get lost... You should take the free map in order to survive in this museum and to find the Monalisa. See the building outside the glass, apparently those also part of the Museum. The Louvre has so many wings and hundreds alleys.
You don't have to be an Art Expert to understand this. This is just magnificent. |
Some famous painting, Idon't know the name. And it's just so ginormous. |
just us |
All those are hand painted?? Really?? How long it took.. All the faces looks so real. The color, the shading is too real to be just a painting. |
Look at that ceiling.. Versailles was nothing compared to this. |
At the first 15 minutes I thought I made a correct decision by entering this museum. Everything is WOW and awesome. I spend some time admiring the painting like I understand, and took photo of the paintings. But... the paintings are never ending. After one corridors full of paintings you'll entering a new halls also full of paintings. And it keeps repeating...

i know it's boring |
and the camera's memory card finally give up. It's full and we have to delete some photos to save some space.... OK no more painting photos. |
We finally found the famous Monalisa. It's so small in real life, only around A3 size. And makes me think, is this really the original? It being placed on the wall, surrounded by some railings and there are still another rope to keep the people away from it or to give some space to take photo maybe?
The Monalisa. |
placed inside a glass walls with double barriers. |
same smile? lol |
After seeing the Monalisa, others art objects doesn't looks appealing to us anymore. It's like our journey has completed. We just walk around with no destination, trying to fully utilized the price we paid for the ticket.

But after some times we really get bored and it feels like we're wasting time if we stay inside here too long. And we start looked for the exit, but it's not easy to find!! Really!! The air inside also feels like suffocating. It's smell so old and dusty, like the library kind of smell.
finally We're out and first thing I buy is some gelatos!! |
Ponts des Arts!! Found it by accident. |
the scenery behind is so unreal.. but it's real... |
the super kiasu padlock!! |
Last time I forgot to post about Sacre Coeur. We went there after we visited the Versailles. But the Versailles entry is already too long. So I will put it here.. Enjoy the photos..
Oh before we're going further, there's an important tips. If you want to go to Sacre Couer, try to use the elevator, it can be paid using the same train ticket, or try to go from the small alley beside. Don't go there directly from the main stairs, as there are lots of scammer. Apparently, there are some black men (not racist, but it's true) will try to stop you. They will say that they're giving away FREE "Friendship bracelets". Who can resist free thing, right? And you'll try to be friendly to them, and they will put the bracelets on your wrist. At the moment you say Thank You and smile, they will pull the string and makes the bracelets become tighten and start to ask for your money or he won't let it go. And suddenly you'll be surrounded by all of them. You have no choice but to let go few euros, depend on your luck. I witness this with my own eyes, while queuing for the public toilet.
Two of my friends got scammed. So when we went there we really scared and planned to talk in chinese so they won't disturb us, but we got lost and took the wrong way there. Lol
We came from this alley, not from the front. From the metro exit, just turn right and follow the people in front of you. This passage is more safe and you'll find lots of souvenirs stores and crepes seller! |
this is the best building so far in Paris |
magnificent view from the hill |
the acrobatic soccer guy |

Don't forget to go to Moulin Rouge, it's so near from Sacre Coeur |
