Paris Disneyland

Disneyland, here we come..

Hi, I'm back.. sorry for the lack of updates...

Here's another part of my Paris story..

Second day during our stay at Paris was 1st of May which is Labour Day. Every shops is closed. It wasn't the best timing to go to Europe. So decided to go to Disneyland, supposed this place always open.

It took 45 mins train journey to reach here. You must buy different ticket because it's located outside the metro zone.

Actually we're also too old for Disneyland. But my boss mention that Disneyland Paris is one of the best Disneyland that he ever visited (compared to Hongkong and Tokyo), so we already come that far to Paris, must visit lah. And also I never been to any Disneyland before.

a magical place, everything is so pretty, or is it because all people here are Caucasians so match with the surroundings?!

sakura!!

There are 2 parks here, Disneyland and Disney Studio. You can buy the ticket which allow you to visit 2 parks on the same day. The different between these 2 parks is Disneyland is for children and the other hands Disney Studio is for adults, where you can find adrenaline rides like Tower of Terror.

This place supposed to be happiest place on earth! But not on a cold day. I don't feel like riding roller coaster on 10 degree (actually I'm not a fan of those kind of rides) and everything is long queue.

Mostly what we did here just took photo, queuing for the rides, admiring the surroundings. We didn't really try all the rides because the queue took too long, somehow we still managed to go into the Phantom Mansion, Pirates of the Carribean, Snow White Rides and Mickey Mouse Studio which took almost 1 hour to queue, but inside we only see Mickey Mouse mascot and took photo with him, what a waste of time. Don't go there...

one of the rides which has 1-hr queue. skip that.

pirates ship
one of the ride that we took. it was the Pirates of the Carribean. Quite entertaining.
Captain Hook and a dwarf

Hunchback of Notredame and Esmeralda.
Little Snow White
What I love the most is a lots of little girl dressed as Disney Princess. Aren't they adorable?!

She also walk like a princess... holding her skirt and followed by Minnie Mouse holdings 2 minnie dolls.
My childhood happiness suddenly felt like I wasn't happy enough.
And here's the Mickey Mouse thingy.....
outside looks can be deceiving

while we wait, we can watch classic mickey mouse and donald duck movies.

queued so long just to get this blurry photo

lucky he managed to take a decent photo of me
You see that, isn't it the same mickey mouse?! we met the same mickey at Disney Studio with no queue.
I don't want to take photo with him anymore.
At Disney Studio we only watch some 4D performance and Stitch Show (which is for kids). The other rides are too scary. We missed the Parade too. So sad.

had lunch, lasagna and side salad. taste normal

he had pizza
and of course I had a dessert, a tiramisu

And we continue our journey to Disney Studio. this park is smaller compared to the Disneyland. It was drizzling, so it become even more freezing. We tried to stayed indoor as much as possible.

this is the entrance to Disney Studio

Everything is so high technology here, totally different from what you see in Disneyland

Found some Indonesian "Wayang Kulit"
Toy Story came in giant size. I feel like i'm the toy

major failed

The mascot here are not so busy, maybe all the kids go home already.

Luigi and Guido

riding that in the rain? no thanks.

looks like a fun ride with the dog. but it quite scary though.

this is totally not a place for me.

we took "Hollywood Studio Tour Tram". it was good for tired legs

They brought us to saw some movie setting

and how they do the explosion effect
These 2 parks closed to early though. Around 7pm if i'm not wrong. So after we're being shoo-ed out, we take a walk at the Disney Resort. Actually this is a very HUGE integrated resort kind of thing. There are hotels and restaurants.

OK, here's the end of my Disneyland post. I still have 2 more things to write from my Paris trip. The Louvre and our Fine Dining experience. Stay tuned..

Don't miss me...
